Abstract
CASES of double tachycardia (DT) have been infrequently reported.1 2 3 4 The association with digitalis toxicity and a poor prognosis are known. This rhythm is not rare in certain clinical settings, and, furthermore, proper diagnosis has an important bearing on patient survival.Material and MethodsOur eleetrocardiographic criteria for the diagnosis of DT were as follows: organized ectopic rhythms in atria and ventricles; and atrioventricular (AV) dissociation. No attempt was made to infer the origin of the atrial rhythm from altered P morphology.5 The ventricular mechanism was considered AV junctional when QRS complexes were identical in form to conducted beats on prior . . .Keywords
