Abstract
A new pneumotachographic apparatus is descr. that has improved operating characteristics and incorporates a portable wireless transducer. Pneumotachograms and the derived kinetic and volumetric respiratory data are presented from normal resting human and canine subjects. The kinetic respiratory measurements on dogs have not previously been reported. Pneumotachographic data are given to demonstrate the unique applicability of this apparatus in studying ambulatory subjects and in evaluating various stress states. Keywords
