Abstract
The water·retaining properties of cell wall materials from the roots of two monocotyledons (Ehrharta calycina Sm. and Triticum vulgare Vill. cv. Gabo) and two dicotyledons (Salicornia australis Banks & Soland and Vicia faba L.) have been studied.Keywords
