Abstract
A syndrome found in hypertensive women characterized by central obesity (usually occurring rapidly), menstrual irregularities or gynecological disturbances, and low NaCl concn. in sweat is descr. The possible pathogenesis of this syndrome and its other distinguishing features are discussed. Its association with adrenal cortical hyperfunction or adenomata or both, is suggested.Keywords
