Abstract
Pulp response to a polycarboxylate cement was evaluated microscopically in 48 teeth with intact dentin floors, and in 55 teeth with exposed pulps. The innocuous effect of polycarboxylate cements on the pulp was substantiated, although its use for pulp capping is not recommended. Keywords
