Abstract
MUCH has been written on the subject of gold as a therapeutic agent in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Its merits are apparently undeniable, but its mode of action is still a matter of conjecture. There seems to be general agreement that gold is a dangerous drug and that extreme caution must be exercised in its administration.
