Abstract
The necessity for swelling cellulose in chemical and textile processes gives rise to the demand for a new and more rapid technique for the determination of the degree of swelling. The method described here is based upon the displacement of the swelling agent with propanol-2, which allows no further swelling and permits removal of extraneous fluid by centrifuging. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
