Abstract
How pre‐venture and established business clients perceived the value of the strategic, administrative and operating assistance provided by the Small Business Development Centre (SBDC) is investigated. For both groups the results suggest that clients who received strategic assistance perceived the value of SBDC consulting to be greater than those who did not. Keywords
