Abstract
Measurements have been made of the capacitance and conductance at 200 c.p.s. of a series of potassium bromide crystals doped with divalent anion and cation impurities. The dependence of the space-charge polarization capacity, caused by blocking of current carriers at the electrodes, on the conductivity and diffusion coefficient of carriers has been established. It is concluded that linearized theories of space-charge polarization cannot explain the experimental results. Keywords
