Abstract
The examination of urine for the presence or absence of significant numbers of bacteria is a major component of the workload of clinical microbiology laboratories. Many attempts have been made at designing systems to screen urine samples rapidly and automatically; however, none has achieved general acceptance. A system is required which will provide acceptable performance criteria, be compatible with subsequent laboratory procedures, and be cost effective. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
