Abstract
The major geological features identified include a buried cliffline, buried channels and relict barriers. Three major lithological units have been recognized within the superficial deposits overlying bedrock. The various features and deposits are discussed in this paper in association with maps, seismic sections and interpreted geological profiles which show the morphology of the bedrock surface, the thickness of the overlying superficial sediments and structures within them. The different lithological sequences present in the upper layers of the superficial deposits are illustrated in typical core sections. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
