Abstract
Cyclopropenylcarbinol derivatives are regio- and diastereoselectively reduced with LiAlH4 in Et2O into trans-cyclopropylcarbinols as a single isomer. The regioselectivity of the hydroalumination reaction on the cyclopropenyl ring has been mapped out by deuterium labeling experiments. Keywords
