Abstract
Ventilation and alveolar carbon dioxide tension was recorded by means of a continuous technique in 5 petit mal patients. The ventilatory response to carbon dioxide (carbon dioxide sensitivity) was also measured. The respiratory variables investigated showed no significant difference between the petit mal group and normal controls. Keywords
