A Deseado hegetothere from Patagonia

Abstract
Propachyrucos ameghinorum, new species, is diagnosed and briefly described from a hitherto unrecorded Deseado (early Oligocene?) deposit near Lat. 44-1/2 degrees west, in central Chubut, Argentina. The type is a nearly complete skeleton, the oldest and one of the most perfect of known hegetothere skeletons. The mounted skeleton and a plastic restoration are figured".
