Abstract
This article analyzes the authorship of articles published in the Journal of Marketing between 1960 and 1981. Comparisons are made by author, academic rank, institution and by occupation. Based on these findings, suggestions are made for creating an atmosphere that encourages a greater lifetime involvement in research.Keywords
