Abstract
The application of electromagnetic delay line readout methods for determining the track positions of ionizing particles in multiwire proportional chambers is described. Construction techniques for large area chambers, which allow the use of all three planes for track position measurements are given. The construction and characteristics of electromagnetic delay lines optimized for wire chamber readout are discussed. Keywords
