Abstract
The stabilization method for positions and widths of resonances has been applied up to now only to model problems or to problems for which definitive calculations are not possible. The purpose of this paper is to examine the method for autoionization states in He and , where accurate calculations are available. It is concluded that reasonably accurate results can be obtained by this method.
