Abstract
A retrospective analysis of 337 young postpubertal delivered mothers was compared with other parturient women in Sokoto University Teaching Hospital (S.U.T.H.) during a 1-year period. In this analysis, late booking was identified as the most important factor that directly affects the perinatal outcome in young postpubertal pregnant mothers. The problems of postpubertal pregnancy were highlighted in order to motivate individuals towards family planning. Keywords
