Abstract
People learn by participating actively in the learning process, so learning experiences for nutrition aides were organized to allow aides to “discover” important nutrition concepts. The example shows how aides discovered the nutritive value of milk, as well as economical and easy ways to use it. The aides became so convinced of the value of this information that they improved their own eating patterns by using more milk. Keywords
