Abstract
The level of sexual activity displayed by sexually mature males of Lucilia cuprina (Wiedemann) and Drosophila melanogaster Meigen (Diptera) increased whenthey were exposed to the odors of potential aggregation sites. The odorous source materials used were fresh sheep's liver and banana, respectively. The increased sexual activity for each species was similar to that obtained in response to the odors of conspecific females. Keywords
