Abstract
Total cross sections for collisions between high-energy hadrons and nuclei are calculated using both Woods-Saxon and Gaussian density distributions for the nuclei. Comparisons with measurements are made. Errors incurred by truncating multiple-scattering series are investigated.Keywords
