Abstract
Animal experiments seem to have given plausible explanations for the favorable clinical results obtained in Meniere's case. Ultrasound reduces the function of both the neuro-epithelium and the secretory epithelium in the labyrinth. The effect of ultrasound on the bony walls of the labyrinth has been studied by means of labelling with tetracycline. Keywords
