Abstract
Placental protein 14 (PP14) was measured in 496 women in the last four weeks of pregnancy. There was no correlation between PP14 levels and the sex of the child, parity, age, or birthweight. A slight reduction in the median value was noted in pregnancies complicated by hypertension. Keywords
