Abstract
Simple analytical formulae including time and quantum-number dependence for the transition intensities, I, of atomic states cascaded by yrast states or l=0 states are derived by solving the full cascade problems. With a suitable choice for the primary population, power laws I(t) varies as t-3/2 are obtained.Keywords
