EFFECT OF DAILY EXPOSURE TO HIGH PRESSURE OXYGEN ON TUMOR GROWTH

Abstract
These results from studies of the growth of Strong A and DBA mouse mammary cancer in muscle, subcutaneous tissue, peritoneal cavity, and lung tissue did not indicate that tumor growth in these tissues was affected by exposure of the animal to 100 per cent O2 at 30 psi for 60 minutes daily for 6 weeks during the active growth phase of the tumor.
