Abstract
The paper gives sufficient conditions for a plasma to be only simply connected. An example is given of the case where a plasma must have more than one component of connectivity or, as we say in what follows, must be a multicomponent plasma. The conditions under which a plasma can be both simply connected and multicomponent are also described. Keywords
