Abstract
A novel directional X-band coupler based on the nonreciprocal scattering properties of a ferrite cylinder is described. Experimental data for coupling and directivity are given as a function of various parameters. Approximate theoretical expressions for coupling and directivity are derived and discussed. Keywords
