Abstract
Four different epicadmium neutron flux spectra were produced by boron filter insertion in a beam port of the Cornell University 100-kW TRIGA reactor. The first spectrum was the unaltered (except for cadmium covers) fission slowing down spectrum; three hardened spectra were produced by the insertion of boron filters enriched in 10B. The shapes and amplitudes of the spectra were determined by the computer code SAND II to reproduce foil activation data obtained from a set of resonance and threshold detectors.Keywords
