Abstract
The orthostatic hypotension was the presenting manifestation of the patient''s illness, and the malignant tumor was discovered incidentally on admission to the hospital and confirmed by biopsy. The usual underlying causes of orthostatic hypotension were ruled out. A pathogenetic relationship between carcinoma, neuropathy and orthostatic hypotension was suggested by their strikingly synchronous development in a previously healthy subject and by the known association of bronchogenic carcinoma with various neuropathies and of neuropathies with orthostatic hypotension. Keywords
