Laceration of the Aorta Complicating Spinal Fracture in Ankylosing Spondylitis

Abstract
This case report concerns major vascular injury associated with fracture-dislocation of the spine after minor trauma in a patient suffering from ankylosing spondylitis. This injury resulted in laceration of the aorta with the formation of an aortic spinal subarachnoid fistula.
