Abstract
The output of a commercial picosecond Ti:sapphire laser is mixed with the 514.5 nm line of a continuous wave Ar+ laser to produce 1.4 ps pulses between 1.295 and 1.7 μm. Noncritical temperature tuning of LiB3O5 has a number of advantages over the other two applicable crystals: β‐BaB2O4 and KTiOPO4. The infrared pulse durations are measured by parametric amplification in KTiOPO4.This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
