Abstract
The crystal structure of a heavy nickel deposit and of several heavy copper deposits is discussed with particular reference to the anomalies and defects commonly associated with deposits of this type and to their possible causes. The effect of annealing on the structure and physical properties of the aggregate receives consideration. The existence of intense, preferred orientation in the nickel deposit and of directional dissimilarities in the copper deposits has been confirmed by x‐ray examination.
