Abstract
The Fe I spectrum has been investigated in the region 1-4 μm with one of the Fourier Transform Spectrometers at Laboratoire Aimé Cotton, Orsay. The line list contains 374 lines, most of them measured with an accuracy better than 5 × 10-3 cm-1. A comparison with the solar spectrum confirms many previous identifications and gives about 100 new identifications of solar lines as due to Fe I.Keywords
