Abstract
We present theoretical results on the spin-polarization of photoelectrons ejected in the process of single-, two-, and three-photon ionization of xenon by circularly polarized radiation. In all cases, we find significant spin-polarization at a series of photon frequency ranges together with substantial cross-sections. The results are analysed and discussed from the perspective of spin-polarized electron sources for which they seem rather promising. Keywords
