Abstract
The frequency of a GaInAsP DFB laser has been locked to the 2p10-3d3 transition of krypton atoms at 1.5339 μm using the optogalvanic effect. The absolute frequency stability was estimated to be better than 4 MHz by using a frequency discriminator which is independent from the frequency-locking servo loop. Keywords
