Abstract
The transmission of 300 Mbit/s BPSK data on a 39GHz subcarrier over 2.2 km of optical fibre using feedforward optical modulation is reported. This is the highest subcarrier frequency transmission reported to date. The Letter shows that this technique can be used to transmit gigabit data at carrier frequencies up to 100GHz and beyond. Keywords
