Abstract
Optical trapping and rotational manipulation of a biological cell using optical fibres (singlemode fibre) is successfully demonstrated. The experimental results show that the control of the rotational manipulation of a yeast cell using two optical fibres is easily realised by controlling the output power from each trapping fibre. Keywords
