Abstract
SUMMARY: A case of bilateral breast metastases developing in a patient with carcinoma of the prostate while on oestrogen therapy is described.Differentiation between prostatic metastases and primary breast tumours under these circumstances is important as the treatment for each is different.Such differentiation may be difficult by conventional histological techniques, but histochemical analysis can resolve the problem, as was possible in this case. Keywords
