Abstract
Measurements of the thermoelectric properties of pure tungsten have been made between 1.2 and 7.0 K by a method in which the electric field within the metal was nulled by the simultaneous application of heat and electric currents. An unusual dependence of the thermoelectric properties on impurity concentration was observed below 3 K; these results are compared with conventional thermoelectric power measurements over the same range of temperatures. Keywords
