Abstract
The Permian volcanic rocks of the Sierra del Cadi in the Catalonian Pyrenees of northeastern Spain are intermediate in chemical composition. Some of them are partly devitrified hyalodacite and hyaloandesite similar to the volcanic rocks of the Midi d'Ossau peak nearby. Albitophyre occurs locally, with a hyaloalbitophyre facies in one locality. The eruptive rocks of the Sierra del Cadi exhibit spilitization resulting from pneumatolytic and hydrothermal agents. Keywords
