Direct Interactions with Three-Particle Final States

Momentum and angular distributions have been calculated for a reaction of the type ${\mathrm{Li}}^7({\mathrm{He}}^3, np){\mathrm{Be}}^8$ using a plane-wave stripping-type interaction. These calculations are compared to the neutron time-of-flight data for this reaction which have been measured at an incident ${\mathrm{He}}^3$ energy of 2 MeV.
