Abstract
Novel dinuclear rhenium(I), ruthenium(II) and osmium(II) bipyridyl cleft-type receptor systems exhibit remarkable selectivity for dihydrogenphosphate over halide anions dictated by the nature of the bridging linkage and the transition-metal Lewis-acidic centre.Keywords
