Abstract
Estimation of dynamic production and cost frontiers raises some basic econometric problems, when the input–output data are nan-stationary over time. Methods of cointegration can be applied in such situations to identify and estimate the efficient production and cost functions. The method of cointegration is here extended to the case of one-sided errors and then empirically applied to the production data of the manufacturing sector for South Korea in recent times. Keywords
