Abstract
It is pointed out that the impedance of a folded dipole relative to that of a simple dipole can be adjusted by employing conductors of different diameters for the separate elements of the folded dipole. Increased impedance ratios can be obtained by the use of additional elements. It is shown that the impedance ratio can be obtained from the current ratio and suitable expressions are derived. Practical examples are given. Keywords
