Abstract
A previous report indicated that the tricyclic antidepressants imipramine and amitriptyline markedly increased plasma prolactin levels in man. We found no increases after acute or chronic treatment with either drug in usual clinical doses. The results indicate that blockade of serotonin reuptake does not affect basal prolactin levels in man. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
