Abstract
There is now considerable evidence to suggest that it is unnecessary for hospital employees with significant tuberculin reactions to have periodic annual chest films. The state of Oregon (USA) has recently changed its policy in this regard. The results of the old regulations and the effects of the new requirements are briefly described.
