Abstract
Pyrolysis of p-t-butyl- and p-trimethylsilylbenzaldehyde tosylhydrazone sodium salts gave indans via intramolecular C-H insertions of o-substituted phenylcarbenes through carbene-carbene rearrangements. Pyrolysis of o- and p-alkoxybenzaldehyde tosylhydrazone sodium salts afforded 2,3-dihydrobenzofurans.This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
