Abstract
Enchytraeidae were collected from various litoral locations and habitats on Anglesey and the Menai Strait. These were identified and an analysis was made of their distribution and frequency of occurrence in the various habitats. 28 species were found. It is suggested that the diversity of species, compared with terrestrial situations, may be explained by the instability of the littoral situation. Keywords
