Abstract
Nuclear shadowing data in high energy photoproduction and deep inelastic scattering are analyzed using a long-standing model which incorporates both vector dominance and an approximate scaling behavior. The model gives both a natural explanation and a quantitative description of the data, including the saturation effect recently observed at small values.
