Abstract
Adult female armadillos were injected with tritiated estradiol. The pituitary gland was removed and processed for autoradiography. Nuclear uptake and retention of the steroid was found in 28.8% of the cells in the pars distalis and 3.7% of the pituicytes. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
